Through Cambridge-style academic sessions, interdisciplinary workshops and collaborative projects, students develop analytical thinking, creativity and communication skills.

The programme combines three areas of learning: Global Leadership, Research Skills for Academic Study and the Business & Entrepreneurship Academic Pathway, helping students explore their interests and prepare for future university studies.

Global Leadership & Research Skills

Gain a broader perspective on business and entrepreneurship through interdisciplinary learning, exploring connections between different fields of study while developing leadership, communication, teamwork and critical thinking skills.

Build essential academic research, analysis and presentation skills while working towards the NOCN Level 3 Award in Research Skills for Academic Study, worth 8 UCAS Tariff points.

Business & Entrepreneurship Academic Pathway

Explore entrepreneurship, business strategy, economics and innovation through academic sessions, discussions and project-based learning.

Examine how organisations make decisions, respond to challenges and operate within wider legal, ethical and social contexts, drawing connections with Law and Humanities.

Inspiring Confidence for Future Success

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND RECOGNITION

Certificates and Academic Development Participants have the opportunity to gain both a Certificate of Completion from Homerton College and the Level 3 Award in Research Skills for Academic Study, awarded by NOCN, an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation.

Stand Out in Applications These qualifications help students strengthen university, internship, and future career applications by demonstrating academic ambition, independent learning, and commitment to personal development. The NOCN qualification also carries 8 UCAS tariff points.

Confidence and Credibility Achieving recognised academic credentials gives students greater confidence in their abilities and provides external recognition of their capacity to engage with advanced academic content and challenging ideas.

Hear From Those Who’ve Transformed Their Futures
I’m in the process of applying to university next year, and I know it’s one of the toughest decisions of anyone’s life. One of my favourite parts of the programme was the entrepreneurship class. As a very competitive person, I truly valued the environment that pushed me to grow and develop that part of myself. It really fuelled my ambition and helped me see things in a whole new way. This experience gave me the confidence and skills that I will highlight in my university application, making me feel more prepared and excited for the next step.

One of the best parts of my experience was making lasting international friendships while playing football with peers from Romania, Spain, and beyond. The excitement of those matches, yelling, shooting, and dribbling — was unforgettable and has stayed with me ever since. It wasn’t just about the academics; the chance to engage in dynamic activities like this made the entire journey feel extraordinary.

As parents, we wanted our kid to have an experience that would truly make a difference. This programme gave him the confidence, independence, and skills to thrive. He built lasting friendships, grew personally, and is now more prepared than ever for university and beyond. Watching him transform has been incredible,
and we couldn’t be more proud!
